I’m happy to report that one of my favorite pop-up shops is back: Ronnie’s Art and Antiques. It’s a veritable trove of vintage furniture, art, lamps, and other objects for the home. What’s more, the pop-up is being held in the old Equitable Trust building on DC’s F St. NW — a grand, light-filled structure whose stalwart Corinthian columns provide a striking contrast to the exposed (and in some places, crumbling) brick. It’s like treasure hunting amidst beautiful ruins. But don’t just take my word for it; here are some photos from the pop-up …
See what I mean? But you better come quick, because Ronnie’s Art and Antiques is only open for a few weeks. (Sorry, he couldn’t give me a set date.)
Ronnie’s Art and Antiques/915 F. St. NW, Washington, DC/Monday-Friday during normal business hours, sometimes Saturday
Happy hunting!
