Despite our increasing dependence on technology, I will always love beautiful notebooks and stationery. Something about the weight of the paper, the vividness of the inks, the simple elegance combined with usefulness — I really just can’t resist. So imagine my delight when I came across these lovely notebooks from Brook Farm General Store.
Handmade in France, the covers of these gorgeous notebooks are made from either fine Italian or Japanese paper. The one exception is the solid blue, which is made from Nepalese fabric. Inside, each notebook contains heavyweight, acid free Italian Fabriano paper, providing a wonderful home for idle musings.
My personal favorites are the floral and tree print covers. However, any of these notebooks would be a perfect first anniversary gift (the traditional item being paper), or a nice surprise for a new college graduate. If you live in or near Brooklyn, you could also give them as a last minute Mother’s Day gift. I know I would definitely appreciate them.
Happy hunting!
